Breaking my thesis-induced blog silence to preen that I my blog has been awarded the ‘Brilliant Weblog’ award by the Mad Momma. Thank you, o kind mad person! The Brilliant Weblog Award’s a prize given to sites and blogs that are smart and brilliant both in their content and their design. The purpose of the prize is to promote as many blogs as possible in the blogsphere. Here are the rules to follow:

1. When you receive the prize you must write a post showing it, together with the name of who has given it to you, and link back to them.
2. Choose a minimum of 7 blogs (or even more) that you find brilliant in content or design.

Me! I won an award and didn’t even realise it! DOH! K-3, very sweetly bestowed this award on me (thanks, K3!) and I am going to preen a bit by showcasing it here, if you don’t mind.

Gee! I feel like a school kid. What is it about these things that makes a person feel so chuffed? I don’t know but I am liking the feeling. So much so, I am going to think deeply about who to pass it on to. Hmm, dunno who hasn’t got it yet but going by personal reasons, I’d like to pass it on to quite a few - starting with Tharini, for throwing me that incredible baby shower (well you thot of it!), my fellow MTBs - Poppy, Kodi’s Mom, Boo, Mags, Lavs and Nutty, and my three personal doulas - MM, SilentOne and CeeKay. And to Sue, for The Name!

This award here is for services past, present and future! Feel special, people! 

… Kodi’s little brother, Plane Paapa. Congrats Kodi’s mum, the first of us MTBs to give birth!! Who’s up next? Lavs? Planethalder? Their babies are due this weekend. After that, it is Maggie and STS’ turns on June 21st.The lineup has started MTBs - get ready for the ride!

Is this some sort of a rolling badge? If it is, then I shall contemplate on who to roll it to post exam. Till then, I shall preen!

The ‘kid‘ in question is barely three! How sick can you be? Deleting such offensive text isn’t enough - people who spew such crap just because they can deserve some seriously harsh punishment.
