That should buy you some time till you come up with your response of choice.

I’m a nipple cream hater myself. Despite the fact that it was deemed safe for breastfeeding, I’d try to rub it off in a paranoid frenzy, undoing any healing and then some. Then the lactation consultant suggested “soothies”, but shocking my nipples out of pain wasn’t terribly fun either.

Hope the girls are feeling better now.
