Me! I won an award and didn’t even realise it! DOH! K-3, very sweetly bestowed this award on me (thanks, K3!) and I am going to preen a bit by showcasing it here, if you don’t mind.

Gee! I feel like a school kid. What is it about these things that makes a person feel so chuffed? I don’t know but I am liking the feeling. So much so, I am going to think deeply about who to pass it on to. Hmm, dunno who hasn’t got it yet but going by personal reasons, I’d like to pass it on to quite a few - starting with Tharini, for throwing me that incredible baby shower (well you thot of it!), my fellow MTBs - Poppy, Kodi’s Mom, Boo, Mags, Lavs and Nutty, and my three personal doulas - MM, SilentOne and CeeKay. And to Sue, for The Name!

This award here is for services past, present and future! Feel special, people! 

… Kodi’s little brother, Plane Paapa. Congrats Kodi’s mum, the first of us MTBs to give birth!! Who’s up next? Lavs? Planethalder? Their babies are due this weekend. After that, it is Maggie and STS’ turns on June 21st.The lineup has started MTBs - get ready for the ride! 

So I have set up a blog for my thesis - well, what do you expect? I am a blogoholic! It is mainly for me to help plugging along at a merry pace. Take a peek at it here and of course, feel free to add your two bits worth! 

I solemnly swear I do not wish my P is fair(er) or anyhow different in any way. I love him just the way he is and do not wish to change him in any way. Amen.

Last week, whilst in a hurry to get ready for school or maths class or some such…
Me: P, hurry up and get ready. If you are not ready, then I will have to leave you and go off by myself.
P: okay mummy.
(few mins later, he comes out dressed whilst I am still ironing my trousers)
P: I’m ready mummy and you’re not. This means I have to leave you and go now and you have to come by yourself.
Me: !!!!

On the way back from school, chatting about what to do for my birthday, which is weeks away!!
Me: How about boating?
P: Speed boating?!!
Me: No, er, the slow kind.
P: Nah. Boring. How about ice skating?
Me: Well, not much fun for me as I won’t be able to do it.
P: No, no, you can do it. Daddy can be with you and hold you, make sure you don’t fall.
Me: No, hon, Daddy has to stay with you, make sure you don’t get hurt.
P: Me? Why? I don’t have a baby in MY tummy!!
Me: ROFL!
