Baby girl survives the Indian railway toilet

desigirl | February 29, 2008

Now if that isn’t a miracle, I do not know what is. This baby girl, born two months premature, when her mum squatted over the Indian toilet on a train in Rajasthan, survived the fall, lying in the cold for two hours and the filthy toilet, too!

May you live long, baby girl!

ps: This makes my fears of delivering P in the toilet bowl unknowingly, quite sensible!

This is apparently quite a common experience? Commenters at Defamer said this happened to some woman in China some time ago and there were several people who had real life friends whose babies popped out when they got up to go to the loo. its apparently common for second babies. Maybe you should use adult diapers? :D

PS - I’m sorry, I shouldn’t tease. But it gives quite another meaning to the term water birth doesnt it?

Water birth? You naughty minx! :p Wait till you are ready to pop a baby - I shall be merciless!!!
